Minu lõputöö käsitleb Meelis Säre seinamaalingu „Põdrake” eemaldamist Tartu Ülikooli kultuuriteaduste instituudi keldrist, mis on rohkem tuntud von Bocki majana. Diplomitöö eesmärk on asetada teos teisaldatavale alusele ning konserveerida maaling. Töö käigus eemaldatakse kaod ja luuakse esteetiline tervik. Kirjalikus uurimuses on tähtsal kohal teemaga seotud isikulugude säilitamine ning maalingu tekkeloo talletamine. Oluline informatsioon põhineb maalil kujutatud Ain Mäesalu mälestustel. Tööprotsess dokumenteeritakse.
My project deals with the removal of Meelis Säre’s mural “Põdrake” from the basement of the University of Tartu Institute of Cultural Research, which is more commonly known as von Bock’s House. The aim of the project is to transfer the artwork onto a movable support and conserve the painting. During the process, damages will be addressed, and an aesthetic unity will be restored. The written research focuses on the preservation of personal histories related to the theme and the recording the painting’s creation story. Important information is based on the memories of Ain Mäesalu, who is depicted in the painting. The work process will be documented.
