Minu lõputöö eesmärk on töötada välja Eesti Rahva Muuseumis asuvale ampiirgarnituurile konserveerimiskontseptsioon, et eksponeerida seda Lihula mõisas. Praktilise osana konserveerin ühe garnituuri kuuluva tugitooli. Kirjalikus osas kajastan kõiki seniseid uuringuid, avan garnituuri ajalugu ja Lihula mõisas avatava näituse tausta ning dokumenteerin põhjalikult algseisundi ja tehtud konserveerimistööd. Panen kokku kogu mööblikomplektile rakendatava konserveerimistööde kava, mille alusel on võimalik konserveerida ka ülejäänud garnituur. Et leida optimaalne, piisavalt vähe sekkuv ning tagasipööratav konserveerimismeetod, teen vajalikud materjaliuuringud, puhastusproovid ja katsetused erineva konserveerimiskeemiaga.
The aim of the final thesis is to develop a conservation concept for the empire set in the Estonian National Museum in order to exhibit it in Lihula manor. As a practical part, I am conserving one of the armchairs in the set. In the written part, I reflect all previous research, open the history of the set and the background of the exhibition to be opened in Lihula Manor, and thoroughly document the initial condition and the conservation work done. I compile a plan for the conservation work to be applied to the entire furniture set, on the basis of which it is possible to preserve the rest of the set. In order to find the optimal, low-intervention and reversible method of preservation, I perform the necessary material research, cleaning samples and experiments with different conservation chemistry.
