The practical part of my project focuses on product development for modular furniture, using a TV stand as an example. The aim of the work is to explore previous examples of modular and living room furniture — ranging from more affordable, mass-market products to design classics. Throughout the research process, I evaluate the construction, materials, and aesthetic strengths and weaknesses across this spectrum of products.
As an outcome, I will produce design drawings for a modular TV stand based on the research findings and a prototype.
