Oma lõputöös kujundan naiseliku pilguga nuku, keskendun nuku tegemisele ning uurin kuidas erinevad omavahel naiselik ja mehelik pilk. Teoreetilises osa toon välja tunnuseid mõlema pilgu kohta. Praktilises osas modelleerin polümeersavist kuulliigenditega nuku ning teosele lähenedes proovin hoida ja edastada naiselikku pilku. Nuku juures tema üks tähtsamaid osasid on esteetiline välimus, millel on tugev tähendus antud teose idee juures. Nii nagu nukku vaadatakse tema välimuse järgi vaadatakse ja objektistatakse ka naisi nende kehade, riiete ja meigi järgi. Tahan luua üldist pilti nukust, kes on tehtud naiseliku pilguga ja kes ka edastaks seda pilku.
In my thesis, I am designing a doll through the female gaze, focusing on making the doll, and examining how the female and male gazes differ from each other. In the theoretical part, I outline the characteristics of both gazes. In the practical part, I will model a doll with ball joints from polymer clay, and when approaching the work, I will try to maintain and convey the female gaze. One of the most important parts of a doll is its aesthetic appearance, which has a strong meaning for the idea of this work. Just as a doll is viewed by its appearance, women are also viewed and objectified by their bodies, clothes, and makeup. I want to create a general image of a doll that is made with the female gaze and that would also convey this gaze.
