Lõputöö koosneb praktilisest tööst ning sellega seotud kirjalikust uurimusest.
Praktilise tööna valmis 23-minutiline lühifilm „Kus te olete?” („Whispers of the Forest”, 2026).
The final project consists of a practical work and an accompanying written study.
The practical part is a 23-minute short film, ’Whispers of the Forest” (orig. „Kus te olete?”, 2026). This real-life-inspired drama follows the story of 8-year-old Mira, who escapes with her younger sister from an oppressive home in search of salvation in a dream forest. Instead of a fantasy world, help arrives from a lonely neighbour, Indrek, for whom helping the missing girls becomes a path to his own emotional healing. The film also draws society’s attention to abused children and calls on viewers to notice and help when needed.
In the written part of the final project, I examine two filmmaking techniques — multilayered mise-en-scène and parallel narrative — exploring how these techniques shape the viewer’s attention, create additional layers of meaning, and influence the viewer’s emotional experience.
