Mikkeli kunstimuuseumis on 24.05.2025 – 19.10.2025 avatud kunstikollektsionääri Reigo Kuivjõgi kunstikogu näitus „Kunstisõltuvus“. Lõputöö praktilise väljundina disainisin näitusele raamatu, mis annab ülevaate näitusel olevatest teostest, mida külastajad saavad kohapeal endale soetada. Raamatus on kokku 88 teose reproduktsiooni, 65 teost pildistasin üles ise.
Lõputöö kirjalikus osas annan ülevaate projekti eeltööst, suhtlusest digigalerii eest vastutava disaineriga, kliendi ja trükikodadega, ülevaate maalide pildistamisest ja fotode töötlemisest. Kirjeldan raamatu tegemise protsessi, tutvustan raamatu vormi, sisu ja materjale ning põhjendan neid valikuid.
An exhibition titled “Art Addiction”, showcasing the private collection of art collector Reigo Kuivjõgi, will be on view at the Mikkel Museum from May 24 to October 19, 2025. As the practical output of my final project, I designed a catalogue for the exhibition that presents an overview of the artworks and is available for purchase by visitors on-site. The book features reproductions of 88 works in total, 65 of which I photographed myself.
In the written part of the work, I provide an overview of the preliminary work for the project, including communication with the digital gallery’s designer, the client, and print mills. I also describe the process of photographing and editing the images of the paintings. Additionally, I present the process of creating the book, introducing its format, content, and materials, along with the reasoning behind those design choices.
