Kujutasin oma töös ema igavest lootust kui võrdkujundit tingimusteta armastusele. Praktilise tööna valminud kolme maali kandev idee on kuivanud õunapuu, mille õide puhkemist ootab puu juures ema aimatav vari.
Essee vormis kirjutatud töös kasutasin oma ema lapse- ja noorpõlvemälestusi ning tema kodutalu õunapuu lugu. Mõtestasin lahti ka õunapuu kui olulise sümboli tähenduse folklooris.
Iga maal on mõõdus 175 cm x 75 cm ning teostatud akrüül- ja õlivärvidega.
In my work, I depicted the mother’s eternal hope as a metaphor for unconditional love. The central theme of three paintings created as part of the practical work is a withered apple tree, with the mother’s faint shadow beside it waiting for it to blossom.
In my thesis written in an essay format, I used my mother’s childhood and youth memories, as well as the story of the apple tree at her childhood home. I also elaborated on the significance of the apple tree as an important symbol in folklore.
Each painting measures 175 cm x 75 cm and is executed using acrylic and oil paints.
