Võru maakonnas asuv Rõuge vald moodustus oma praegusel kujul haldusreformiga 2017. aastal, kui ühendati Mõniste, Varstu, Haanja, Misso ja Rõuge vald. Pärast ühinemist kerkis esile küsimus ühendvalla digitaalsest identiteedist.
Lõputöö esimeses osas uurisin ühinenud valdade sümboolika tekkelugu ning koostasin ülevaate Rõuge valla praegusest visuaalist ja selle nõrkadest külgedest. Töö praktilises osas tegin Rõuge vallale stiiliraamatu, mis ühendab endised vallad ühtseks ning võimaldab Rõuget paremini turundada. Koos stiiliraamatuga kujundasin ka erinevad mallid, mille toel on disaini- ja kujunduspõhimõtteid mugav rakendada.
Rõuge Municipality is located in Võru County. It acquired its current form in 2017 when the municipalities of Mõniste, Varstu, Haanja, Misso, and Rõuge were merged as part of an administrative reform. After the merger, the question of the digital identity of the joint municipality arose.
In the first part of my thesis, I studied the history of the symbolism of the merged municipalities. In addition, I compiled an overview of the current visual identity of Rõuge municipality and its weaknesses. In the practical part of the work, I created a style guide for Rõuge that unites the former municipalities and allows better marketing of Rõuge. Along with the style guide, I also designed various templates that make it easy to implement the design and layout principles.
