„Knopka dogtriin“ on seitsmest illustratsioonist koosnev sari, mis põhineb autori loodud fiktsioonil. Töö eesmärk oli kujundada tegelane Knopka – koer, kes on suuteline tegutsema inimesele omasel moel. „Knopka dogtriin“ tuleneb peategelase nimest ning sõnadest „doktriin“ ja „dog“ (ee koer).
Fiktsiooni ja karakteriloome põhjalikule uurimisele järgnes taustaloo kirjutamine, karakteri kujundamine, illustratsioonide loomine ning protsessi käigus tehtud valikute lahtimõtestamine. Lõppeesmärk oli luua illustratsioonid, mis jutustaksid uurimistulemuste põhjal loodud karakteri taustalugu.
“Knopka’s Dogtrine” is a series consisting of seven illustrations based on fiction created by the author. The aim of the work was to create the character Knopka – a dog capable of acting in a human-like manner. “Knopka’s Dogtrine” derives from the protagonist’s name and the words “doctrine” and “dog.”
In-depth research into fiction and character development was followed by writing a background story, designing the character, creating illustrations, and analysing the choices made during the process. The goal was to create illustrations that would tell the background story of the character created based on the research findings.
