For the final project, a cardboard picture book “Estonian Design Classics for Toddlers” will be made, which introduces local product design icons. The goal is to consolidate design awareness in both new and those generations who are the co-observers of the book. Although the book’s topic selection may initially seem too difficult for a toddler, it should be pointed out that for a toddler it is a normal cardboard book introducing consumer items, from which to learn words or colors. The purpose of the book is to encourage those target groups who are not deeply involved in the world of design to familiarize themselves with Estonian design classics through the children’s products market.

In the theoretical part of the final project, Estonian design classics and their influences are analyzed. To support the visuals of the book, a friendly book for young children based on Montessori pedagogy is interpreted.
