Kollektsioon koosneb kohalikust Eesti maalamba villast kootud silmuskudumitest.
“KIHTIMISI” kollektsioon valiti ERKI moeshow 2022 finalistide hulka.
Our garments are machine knitted with local wool. The wool is from native sheep and it’s washed, processed and spinned into yarn right here in Estonia. We think it’s crusial to emphasise the importance of using local materials. Supporting sheep keeping, producing yarn and other products from wool gives us materials with good quality but also helps to lessen the amount of imported goods. There is a transparency where and how these local materials are made and processed.
“KIHTIMISI” has also a few different fabrics which are mostly made out of cotton, which is a more lighter option next to the warmth of the wool. It brings out that our local wool is versatile and can be layered.
We want to break the wall between “women clothes” and “men clothes”. Separating these two so strongly takes away the freedom of expressing oneself fully. We want to be designers who create and invent new ways instead of mass producing. The aim was to design clothes that can be worn by people with different sizes and body types but not cutting back on the aesthetical value of the designs.
“KIHTIMISI” was one of the fi nalists of ERKI fashion show 2022.
