See lõputöö on uurimus tasapinnalise illustratsiooni tõlgendamisest rõivaks. Praktikapõhine uurimus koosneb kolmest erineva eesmärgiga etapist. Esmalt valmib illustratsioonidest koosnev animatsioon, mis on projitseeritud vormiotsingu eesmärgil inimkehale. Inimkeha vormist ja illustratsioonidest pärit geomeetriliste elementide kujule funktsiooni andmisest said rõivaste tehnilised kavandid, mis on aluseks lõigetele ja kangasse tõlgendamiseks.
Uurimistöö jooksul läbitud disainiprotsessi lõpuks valmib viiest komplektist koosnev rõivakollektsioon “mar”.
Kollektsiooni esitlus toimus 10. juunil 2020 etendusel Mood-Performance-Tants, videos nähtav alates 10:00.
This is a study of using two-dimensional illustration as the basis of the process of garment design. This practice-based study consists of three stages with different aims. First, an animation of illustrations is created and projected onto a human body for the purpose of searching for new form. Next, translating the shape of projected geometrical elements to function and following the shape of human body, the illustrations became technical drawings of garments. These schemes are the third stage and the basis of interpretation of cuts and fabrics. At the end of the design process, clothing collection “mar”.
