Tekstiilitudengina olen alati olnud huvitatud leidma uusi viise tekstiilide ja struktuuride loomiseks – kuidas erinevate vahendite ja meediumide abil jäljendada ja edasi arendada traditsioonilisi tekstiilitehnikaid. Lõputöö eesmärk on näidata masintikkimise potentsiaali kanga loomisel ja seeläbi laiendada arusaama rõivaste loomise protsessist.
Lõputöö praktilises osas eksperimenteerin masintikkimise võimalustega, et leida uudseid lahendusi pitstikandi kasutamiseks. Protsessi tulemusena valmib lõikepõhiste lahenduste teostamist võimaldav innovaatiline tekstiilmaterjal.
Being a textile student I have always been interested in finding new ways to create textiles and structures – how to use different resources and media to imitate and develop further traditional textile techniques. The aim of the final work is to demonstrate the potential of machine embroidery in the creation of fabric and to expand the notion of the process of creating clothing.
In the practical part of the final work I experiment with the possibilities of machine embroidery, to find novel solutions for the use of lace embroidery. As a result, an innovative textile material is completed that enables to carry out pattern-based solutions.
