Ühisnäitus „Vaatamata kõigele oleme me olemas“, millel osalesin koos Carmen Ööbiku ja Lotta Karoliina Räsäneniga, toimus galeriis Pallas 25. aprill – 24. mai 2025.
Lõin väljapanekuks uusi töid ning mõtestasin ja täiendasin oma vanemaid teoseid, koondades need ideeliseks tervikuks. Näitusel oli minu poolt esindatud kokku 10 teost, lisaks vastutasin plakati ja näitusel kasutatava teoste kaardi kujunduse eest.
Oma töödes käsitlesin sooidentiteeti ja seksuaalsust isiklikus ning mängulises võtmes. Teosed on tulnukalikud ja valdavalt androgüünsed, väljendades aga üldinimlikke tundeid, nagu igatsus, võõrandumine, üksindus ja eufooria.
The group exhibition “Here, in Spite of It All” in which I participated alongside Carmen Ööbik and Lotta Karoliina Räsänen, took place at the Gallery Pallas from April 25 to May 24, 2025.
For the exhibition, I created new works and conceptualized and refined some of my older pieces, combining them into a cohesive thematic whole. A total of 10 works were presented by me, and I was also responsible for the design of the poster and the exhibition cards used for the works.
In my works, I addressed gender identity and sexuality in a personal and playful way. The pieces are alien-like and predominantly androgynous, yet they express universal human emotions such as longing, alienation, loneliness, and euphoria.
In my written work, I explored the background of the works, their connections, and the creative process, reflecting on contemporary society, gender, and identity.
