Jalanõud hinnatundlikele klientidele ei ole tihti mugavad ega ilusad ning seetõttu hakkas mind huvitama, kas oleks võimalik luua madalama hinnaklassiga ja esteetilisi unisex-sandaale. Selleks püüan lõputöö raames projekteerida monoliitset moodultalda, mis annaks võimaluse konstrueerida erinevaid jalatsite tüüpe – varbavahesandaalidest kinnisemate jalanõudeni. Kirjalikus osas otsin ajaloost inspireerivaid sandaalide näiteid ja turul olevaid või olnud analooge.
Pakun välja omapoolse moodultalla definitsiooni ja analüüsin erinevaid pealse- ja talla ühendusmeetodeid. Panen kirja ka praktilise protsessi.
3D-sse skaneeritud jala järgi modelleeritud tald valatakse silikoonist. Lõpptulemina valmistan prototüübina vähemalt ühe paari sandaale KOUR.
The footwear for price-sensitive customers is often not comfortable or beautiful, which is why I became interested in whether it would be possible to create inexpensive, aesthetic unisex sandals. As part of my final project, I aim to design a monolithic modular sole that would allow for the construction of various types of footwear, from open-toed sandals to closed-toe shoes.
In the written part, I am looking for inspiring examples of sandals from history and their analogues that have been or are currently on the market. I propose a definition for a modular sole and analyze different methods of connecting the upper and sole. I will also document the practical process.
A sole modeled after a 3D-scanned foot will be cast from silicone. As a result, at least one pair of KOUR sandals will be produced as a prototype.
