Aksessuaarikollektsioon Paracord on inspiratsiooni saanud metsloomanahkadest, mida keskkond on pikka aega mõjutanud. Olelusvõitluse armid jutustavad siin oma lugu, andes aksessuaarile isikupära ja ilu. Ellujäämiskäevõrust inspireeritud punumistehnikaga furnituurid lisavad loole justkui jätkuosa.
Lõputöö eesmärk on väärindada kohalikku toorainet ja toetada Eesti tootjaid. Kõigepealt on materjal, siis tuleb idee – nii toimib disainiprotsess minu jaoks kõige edukamalt.
Kirjalikus osas selgitan välja kohalike materjalide saadavuse. Uurin ja katsetan paelte punumistehnikaid. Kirjeldan kollektsiooni disainiprotsessi – alates materjalist kuni valmis tooteni. Lõputöö tulemusena valmib kolmest kotist koosnev kollektsioon, mida esitlen MPT moeüritusel.
The Paracord accessory collection is inspired by wild animal skins that have been affected by the environment for a long time. The scars of the struggle for existence tell their story here, giving the accessory personality and beauty. Accessories with a braiding technique inspired by a survival bracelet add a continuation of the story.
The aim of the thesis is to value local materials and support Estonian producers. First comes the material, then comes the idea – that’s how the design process works most successfully for me.
In the written part, I will find out the availability of local materials. I am researching and experimenting with ribbon braiding techniques. I describe the design process of the collection – from the material to the finished product. As a result of the final project, a collection consisting of three bags will be completed, which will be presented at the MPT fashion show.
