Mis värvi on armastus? Mis muster on armastus? Kui armastus oleks kootud värviline kampsun, siis mis lugu ta räägiks? Minu lõputöö eesmärk oli tõlkida armastuslood kootud mustrite keelde.
Kollektsiooni „Kirmastus“ kampsunid on ustavad kaaslased külmadel päevadel ja toovad rõõmsa meeleolu ja kirkad värvid aastaaega, mil pimedust on kõige rohkem. Soovin pöörata tähelepanu armastusele meie ümber ning iseäranis tingimusteta armastuse võlule. Iga muster räägib loo ühe paari armastusest. Villane kampsun hoiab keha soojas, samamoodi nagu armastus hoiab hinge soojas.
Disainiprotsessi kõige olulisem osa on kogutud lugude tõlgendamine mustrite kaudu. Kollektsioon „Kirmastus“ on valminud villasest materjalist ning järgib materjalisäästliku disaini põhimõtteid.
What colour is love? What pattern is love? If love were a knitted colourful sweater, what story would it tell? The aim of my final project was to translate love stories into knitted patterns.
The sweaters of the “Kirmastus” collection are faithful companions on cold days, bringing cheerful mood and bright colours to the season when darkness prevails the most. I want to draw attention to the love around us, especially to the magic of unconditional love. Each pattern tells the story of a couple’s love. The wool sweater keeps the body warm, just as love keeps the soul warm.
The most important part of the design process is interpreting the collected stories through patterns. The “Kirmastus collection is made of wool and follows the principles of sustainable design.
