Minu lõputöö fookuses oli minu enda matuse loominguline läbimäng. Olin võtnud eesmärgi lähtuda surnute fotografeerimise kultuurist Eestis ja lahkunute kujutamisest kunstis minu valitud autorite näitel. Praktilise osana valmis installatiivne teos, mis koondab eri meediumites minu enda lavastuslikku matust. Põhirõhk oli matusefotograafia kui žanri
iseärasuste rakendamisel minu enda matust kujutavas fotoseerias.

The focus of my thesis was the creative enactment of my own funeral. I aimed to draw from the culture of photographing the deceased in Estonia and the representation of the departed in art, using examples from my chosen authors. As a practical part of my final project, I created an installation that brings together various media to portray my own staged funeral. The emphasis was on applying the peculiarities of funeral photography as a genre in a photo series depicting my funeral.
