„Päevaraamat“ portreteerib psüühiliste erivajadustega inimeste igapäevaelu ühe Viljandi päevakeskuse näitel. Päevakeskuses Vinger kohtun ligi kahekümne indiviidiga, kelle lugu ja karakterit iga külastusega lähemalt tundma õpin. Need kohtumised ja lood on kõik täiesti erilised, kuid ometi tavapärased. Lõputöö eesmärk on suurendada selle marginaalse ühiskonnagrupi kohta teadlikkust ja normaliseerida avalikkuse jaoks nende olemuslikku eripära. Galeriis Pallas esitlen valikut fotodest – suurem eesmärk on välja anda mahukas fotoraamat, mida saadavad isiklikud tekstid.
Kirjaliku ja praktilise töö käigus arenes välja teadlikum autoripositsioon, mis toetab nende inimgruppide fotografeerimist, kelle vastu fotokunstnikuna huvi tunnen.

Research project “The Daycare Diary” portrays the everyday lives of people with mental disabilities, based on the example of a day centre in Viljandi. At the Vinger day centre, I meet almost twenty individuals whose stories and characters I get to know more with each visit. These encounters and stories are all entirely unique, yet at the same time ordinary. The aim of this project is to raise awareness about this marginalized social group and to normalize their inherent distinctiveness in the eyes of the public.
At the Gallery Pallas, I present a selection of photographs—the larger goal is to publish an extensive photo book accompanied by personal texts.
Through the written and practical parts of this project, I have developed a more conscious authorial position, which supports photographing the communities and individuals I am drawn to as a photographic artist.
